I have decided to leave this site. I have a limited amount of time to dedicate to photography and it's promotion, and i feel it is better spent on other sites; notably less dictatorial, more user-friendly and less cynically self-promoting ones that allow the user freedom and gives him/her the tools to do what he/she wants to do.

The inability to find local artists/models/colaborators on this site really is piss poor.

The fact that masses of people can and do joing this site with no artwork of their own just to fill their tawdry little folders full of masturbatory material. DeviantART does not allow porn apparently???? Yeah, i thought that too....

The Stalinist attitude of some of the 'Gallery Directors'.

...and the cynical way in which, if you do wish to leave, you have to delete each and every item in your folders, one by one. You can't just delete your profile. Deleting 250+ images takes some time, but then again, i guess that's the idea, isn't it? Would imagine leaving the scientologists is easier, although both organisations seem to be run along similiar lines.

So anyway boys and girls, thanks for the laughs, the ups and the downs, the comments and the criticisms, but i'm out of here. All the best and good luck with your artistic endeavors.
